fun stuff

I found this last january, and thought it was really funny, but just too late. Now, 11 months later, it's relevant again, and still located at the same spot. Go see some snowy globe madness, and I dare you not to laugh

Toon in

okay, it's not actually a screen shot - more like a publicity stillWhoa, Warner Brothers on-line! It doesnt get much better than this, you forget how good those things were. The picture is from "Bully for Bugs", or you might like one of my favorites, "Duck Amuck" even better. Or perhaps the classics "What's Opera, Doc?" or "The Rabbit of Seville" (my all-time personal favorite). Oh hell, go here and make your own choice! (watch out for the too-loud commercials, though.)

Thanks to Pops for the link!

Addendum: Aaaaand years later, the links are no longer any good. Sorry.

self-classified post

Hey, if you're not a regular NPR listener already, go and read/listen to this article, then try and sum yourself up in 30 words or less. Here's mine:
Out-of-shape male, 42, tall, smart (assed), geek-literate, with artistic bent seeks* clever girl to appreciate my jokes and lack of ambition. Warning: love me, love my crap.
God, I love the English language!

* this is only a language exercise, of course, since I'm already married
