junkies gotta jones

Until these are banned, America will not even be close to ready to give up it's addiction to oil.

This is not an ad on the side of a delivery truck, but rather a billboard on wheels, a rolling waste of fuel that has no purpose other than to be an advertisement while pumping more hydrocarbons into the atmosphere. When such things exist, how serious can any country be about saving fuel?

This is awful. You're right, these things need to be banned. There's no reason to waste fuel and emit this mych CO2 in order to advertise. I would actively boycott any corporation using these.

I don't see those where I live.I totally agree its a bullshit waste of oil resources AND a pollution machine for naught.

UL: most of the time, these things advertise junk products anyway (lawyers, cheap furniture, tanning), so that's rather like boycotting telemarketers

Dusty: California being a semi-progressive state, they might actually be banned. Or maybe they just havent gotten there yet.
