This story proves that you dont have to go to war to make a sacrifice for your country.

Sounds like someone made a deal then backed out. The artical was good and if the Dems hold true to their word they will pull them all out in the next couple of months, and we all know they will do what they campained on. They like the reps say what people want to hear then don't deliver. But then I guess if they always did what they said to get themselves elected we would have a need for only one party.

Yes, you're right, George Bush made a committment to uphold the constitution, and has failed miserably. As for Watada, he's making a sacrifice for his country, based on his beliefs and his interpretation of the Constitution (which he's never refered to as "a goddamn piece of paper"). I salute him for that.

Well we will soon know if the war was illegal or not. Surely if anyone in either house has the proof then there will be hearings by the end of the month. If they lied intentionally I hope they all go to jail. Bush, Clinton, Kerry, roadham clinton and everyone who got right up there on TV and said there were WMD's etc. We;ll see, I am waiting. I'm sure Watada is a Constitutional scholar, I think i saw that somewhere yeah I remember it now. I didn't say he was wrong for doing what he believed in I just said he made a deal and backed out, which best I can tell is true. I think I saw on CBS GW saying that about it being a just a piece of paper too. That will be excellent evidence at the trail at the end of the month.

He's fighting for us in his own way, and while it's not necessarily any better, it's no less so, either.
