You know we're in trouble when the Canadian dollar achieves parity with the U.S. dollar. If nothing else, this should be a clear sign to the average American about what a piss-poor job the Bush Administration has made of the economy.

something fishy in Denmark here. Agree whole heartedly about the Bushco fuckup factor here, but am wondering as well about the relation of this to the jack-up in lumber prices in the last year. (double the price for manufactured lumber prices, and not just Canadian lumber - Baltic Birch Ply has sky rocketed, when you can even find a retailer anymore.
