When Democrats give away money, people call it a hand-out, when Republicans do it, it's called a subsidy, but when they do it together it's called a "stimulus".
And when Republican politicians and corporations live all their lives on these subsidies, they call it "pulling myself up by my own bootstraps, the American way, all on my own." Personally, I didn't want to pay for Cheney's education or logging roads in National parks.
When black and poor people live on infinitesimal fractions of these subsidies, they call it "draining the American taxpayer."
