chart for the day


I dropped out of grad school in 1993, figuring I'd go back eventually. At these prices, I'm afraid I never will be able to. Here's an article to go with it.

We've been lucky because we have enough to pay for it, although is puts a dent in my retirement funding.

There has been a double digit tuition rise every year since my daughter started. She is just finishing her 4th year and we're spending almost as much for one year as we'd liberally planned for the entire 4.

To top it off, with class cutbacks it will take her an extra quarter to graduate because she couldn't get classes she needed...even after going to summer school twice to get them when they opened.

Grrr.
