sad, but too true

I'm feeling the same way. The house needs to be cleaned. The baby's room needs to be finished. I told my husband he'll have to clean up his mess in the kitchen all by himself. The laundry needs to be done. The floors need to be vacuumed. I don't feel like doing anything.

My old Dad used to say, "Never do today what you can do tomorrow."

It's advice I've always followed, except I do things the day after tomorrow.

I love this post. This heat has me in a waking coma... and I am selfishly relieved to know I'm not alone.

106 degrees today. I become a slug in the summer. I hate summer, at least summer in Dallas. It's much like I expect Hell to be, but with more traffic.

The whole family is home. Every day. I actually get to sleep, since I dont have to get up and take children to school.

Result: less blogging, more... I dont know what, but more not blogging.

For all of you around the country suffering in this heat wave, just remember; it may be miserable now, but next week a cool front will roll through, and it'll be beautiful again, unless you live in North Texas, where it'll stay in the upper 90's or higher until sometime in October.

It's supposed to be mostly sunny and 82 on Monday where I'm working. Salt...wound. And yes, you'd better believe I'll be on a golf course.

Brother, you suck.

It'll be 82 here in about, November. Or 7:00 a.m., maybe.
