hmmmmmm...

Hey, I had a thought:

The latest financial collapse is more or less agreed to have been caused by the overly loose banking industry regulatory policies promoted by the Republican Party*. The Republican Party also draws a significant portion of their base from the Christian faith (evangelical and otherwise). So, to how many of those Christians has it occurred that they have joined the side of the Moneychangers?

Jesus and the Hedgefund Managers

* Republicans may disagree with this, but that's to be expected, isnt it?

They'd rather pass the blame elsewhere and whenever has religion had anything to do with doing the right thing?

Even insanity has its own internal logic; religions certainly do (even if it doesnt always make sense to outsiders). I'm just wondering if Christians are paying any attention to their own standards?

Gonna have to disagree with you here, as the Religious Right and the Business Elite are generally considered to be two different wings of the party. A large portion of both are asshats, yes, but still two different wings of the party.

Hmmm... my word verification is calsfi. Somewhat fitting when discussing Republicans and their positions.

Gotta have two wings to fly, and the Religious Right has been a load-lifter for the GOP since the Democrats gave up being (obvious) bigots.
