David Brin has come up with a great list of arguements for subduing the Republicans in your life. I would encourage you to look at it, and use the ideas there to whittle down the resolve of those who still support the criminal machine that we call the Republican Party. I say this because without a responsible opposition, the Democrats will inevitably do as much damage to the nation as the Republicans already have. In order to keep Democratic abuses in check, we're going to need the GOP to be recaptured by actual conservatives, rather than the fascist psychopaths currently running the party.

Actually, I suppose as long as the MSM is effectively functioning as the propaganda wing of the Republican Party, maybe the Democrats will be able to avoid the corruption of power that we've seen so clearly in the Bush Administration...

Or perhaps none of this will matter, seeing as the Democratic-controlled Congress isnt much better than it ever was, and until that body is cleansed, the system will continue to grind the bones of average American down to make bread for the giants.
