My very first real post was about "Intelligent" Design. How I do wish I'd written about it as well as Roger Ebert did while refuting Ben I-owe-my-fame-to-Ferris-Bueller Stein's film "Expelled".
It's what pushed me over the edge. The idea that in one the industrial world's (formerly*) most potent forces, a movement as stupid as the ID one could take hold like it has is mind-boggling.
(* It could be argued that the U.S. is/has falling/fallen from pre-eminence largely due to superstitious nonsense like this.)
