Hey, check out Sridhar Thayil, an Indian duo combining all sorts of musical genres into something like theatre. Very cool. BBC describes them thusly: The electro pop duo from Bombay, via New York and Hong Kong comprising a poet and a singer, have played some extraordinary gigs in their time, including the Jaipur Literary Festival, and as an opening act for author Vikram Seth.
