And while I'm at it, I'll rerun this cartoon, which I think says just about everything about the exploitation of workers and Republican claims about taxes taking "their" money.

It's always a "class war" when poor people say that the rich dont deserve their wealth, but no one ever says the same thing when a working person is denied a living wage, or has their job eliminated in order to make the company extra profit.

It's not a class war, it's redistriution of wealth. Wait, that can't be right. These Republicans are always confusing the hell out of me.
This somewhat relates to my theory that the rich don't actually buy anything. How many times to you see rich celebrities just getting things?
As for the political angle: this battle has been going on since this country was founded. Remember that the first voters where rich white male landowners. Everyone else was considered rabble, and some people today still feel that way.
