A: Because she's not on MSNBC, CNN or FoxNews.
We need smaller media conglomerates and so more gatekeepers and so more and different voices about the events of the day. Why, out of all the talk about what's wrong with the economy and all the talk of "too big to fail" have we heard nothing about breaking up these huge companies almost all of whom seem to be in trouble?
People are listening to her. Actually she's been all over the media recently.
President Obama is even listening to her. Her idea for a consumer protection agency has been getting some play in Washington--let's just hope it doesn't get watered-down beyond all recognition.
