These people will be voting in November. Remember this, and despair.

I guess our childrens is learning.

I will now light myself on fire.

Dont do it right away. Remember Bush 1's "thousand points of light"? You could be one of those - helping children study at night, after the electricity gets turned off.

Typical idiots. But remember this scary fact - geniuses comprise less than a quarter of a percent of the population.

Still, these people are willingly stupid. In other words, they don't care, their parents probably didn't care, their educators didn't care. And ultimately that's the goal of the US Government (either party) because dumb masses are easier to manipulate.

Let's not say "of the government", let's say "of those who manipulate the government for their own gain".
But otherwise, yeah, sort of.

Their educators may well have cared, but while you can lead a horse to water, you cant make him think, something No Child Left Behind doesnt take into account.

You dont have to be a genius to be informed. You just have to make learning the information a higher priority than American Idol, or club-crawling, or fashion, or bowling, or football stats, or World of Warcraft, or internet porn, or bingo, soap operas, or blah blah blah blah, need I go on?

Wow. Scary. I didn't know all the answers, but at least I didn't invent any answers. I was totally shocked by many of the answers - simply unbelievable. Did they interview anybody who got them right, or did they just compile all the wrong answers? I'd like a little balance to give me hope. I didn't think of the U.S.A. right away when they asked to name a country that started with a "U", but at "Uruguay" and "Uganda" came to mind (two answers more than the participants gave) and I know North Korea is not down under.
Wow. It's Halloween, and this is the scariest thing I've seen all day.
