a little song

Years ago I made up a little Christmas song, then I forgot it. I've remembered it again, so I thought I'd share it with you all.

are those plastic trees? they just aint natural
kill a tree for jesus
and his birth devine
show how much you love him
by cutting down a pine
put it in the living room
watch it dry all out
when the needles hit the floor
hear the trumps a'shout!

It works best if you sing it with a twangy, redneck accent.

I hear if you stick them up some nutcase's ass they last a lot longer.

BTW, I commented on your last post and it disappeared. I just wanted to make sure I collected my frequent reader miles.

I'm planning a trip to Nebraska...the REAL America.

I had a roommate who was born in Nebraska. I was born in Iowa. He used to say that Iowa stood for Idiots Out Wandering Around. I tried and tried, but the best I could retaliate was Nearly Everybody Runs Around Saying "Kick Ass", which is pretty lame, really.
Nebraska's okay if you like endless prairie and wind. And Harold Warp's Pioneer Village is interesting... that's all I got for them, though.

Cant imagine where your last comment went, Poobie.
