Okay, all over my mad. A little research shows that the Ad Council is not a mouthpiece for the advertising industry, but instead an non-profit*, non-partisan service organization.
Seriously, though, after 8 years of Bush and his policies, shouldnt "change" be a non-partisan issue? And I dont mean in the McCain way, especially since neither I nor anyone else sees any change with McCain (except maybe more of the same, which is a change in the wrong direction).
*which doesnt actually mean anything: witness think-tanks, which are non-profit (i.e., they may not make profit, but their "research" does, for the corporations which support them), which kind of gives lie to the whole idea, doesnt it**?
**This is not to imply that the Ad Council is one of these organizations, by the way.
